LTT-Madgaon Weekend Special Trains Announced for October 2026

Konkan Railway has decided to run additional weekend special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) and Madgaon Junction (Goa) to clear the holiday rush. Train numbers 01029 and 01030 will operate during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend on October 2, 2026 and October 4, 2026. Passengers looking to travel along the Konkan route are advised to book their tickets early.

  • Key Halt Stations: These special trains will halt at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions.
  • Coach Composition: The service will operate with a total of 22 Coaches, including 04 AC 3-Tier coaches, 11 Sleeper class coaches, 05 General second class coaches, and 02 SLRD coaches.
  • Ticket Bookings: Passengers are requested to check the seat availability and detailed timings on the official website of Indian Railways or at any IRCTC booking counter.

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
