Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam Trains Get Extra AC Coaches in 2026

In a major boost to passenger capacity, South Coast Railway has announced the permanent augmentation of extra coaches for key trains running between Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam. StartingOctober 11, 2026, select regular and special train services operated underSouth Western Railway jurisdiction will feature additionalAC 3-Tier Economy coaches. This augmentation will scale up the total carrying capacity of these popular express trains from 18 to 20 coaches.

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
