SWR Train Diversions and Delays in September & October 2026

South Western Railway has notified changes in the pattern of train services due to pre-Non Interlocking and Non Interlocking works at Tolahunse yard. These infrastructure works are being executed in connection with the construction of the new Tumkur – Davangere Broad Gauge line. Passengers planning their journeys in September and October 2026 are requested to check the revised schedules and route alignments detailed below.

  • Train No. 22497 Shri Ganganagar – Tiruchchirappalli Humsafar Express will skip scheduled stoppages at Harihar , Davangere , Birur , Arsikere , Tumkur , and Banaswadi during its diverted run.
  • Train No. 12777 Hubballi – Thiruvananthapuram North Superfast Express will depart Hubballi at 09:05 hrs instead of its scheduled departure time of 07:05 hrs on 23rd September and 07th October, 2026.
  • Train No. 07355 Hubballi – Rameswaram Special will depart Hubballi at 08:50 hrs instead of 06:50 hrs on 04th October, 2026.
  • Train No. 07356 Rameswaram – Hubballi Special will depart Rameswaram at 22:00 hrs instead of 20:00 hrs on 05th October, 2026.

Central Railway Announces 50 Special Train Services for Diwali 2026

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
