SWR Alters Train Services: Cancellations & Diversions List 2026

South Western Railway has announced revised changes in train services due to yard work at Tolahunse for the Tumakuru–Davangere New Broad Gauge Line. These changes, effective from September 20, 2026 to October 13, 2026, will include cancellations, partial cancellations, and diversions of multiple key train routes. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules before traveling.

  • Train No. 19667 Udaipur City–Mysuru Humsafar Express will run via a diverted route skipping Davangere on 21.09.2026 and 05.10.2026.
  • Train No. 17310 Vasco Da Gama–Yesvantpur Express will be rescheduled by 90 minutes on 20.09.2026 and 28.09.2026.
  • Train No. 26751 Belagavi–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will be rescheduled by 60 minutes and regulated up to 120 minutes on specific days.
  • Train No. 16213 / 16214 Arsikere–SSS Hubballi Daily Express will skip the scheduled stoppage at Tolahunse from 21.09.2026 to 13.10.2026.

Central Railway Announces 50 Special Train Services for Diwali 2026

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
