Northern Railway Extends Special Train Services Between Ranchi and Anand Vihar Terminal

Special Train Services Extended

In a move to provide hassle-free travel and convenience to rail passengers, the Indian Railways has announced the extension of the periodicity of special trains running between Ranchi and Anand Vihar Terminal.

These services, which connect Ranchi to Anand Vihar Terminal, have been extended for nine additional trips in each direction through November 2026. The details of the extended special train services are as follows:

  • Train No. 02877 (Ranchi - Anand Vihar Terminal): Operating on Saturdays, this train service is extended from October 3, 2026, to November 28, 2026, representing a total of 9 extended trips.
  • Train No. 02878 (Anand Vihar Terminal - Ranchi): Operating on Sundays, this train service is extended from October 4, 2026, to November 29, 2026, representing a total of 9 extended trips.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly. For real-time updates on schedules and running status, travelers can visit the National Train Inquiry System (NTES) or dial the railway helpline number 139.
