Narasapur-Tiruvannamalai Diwali Special Trains 2026 Announced

To clear the extra rush of passengers during the upcoming Dasara, Deepawali, and Chhath Festivals, South Coast Railway has announced weekly special trains. The 07291/07292 Narasapur – Tiruvannamalai – Narasapur Express Specials will operate from October 2026 to November 2026 to facilitate smooth transit.

Special Train Route and Schedule Details

These festival special trains will run nine weekly services in both directions. Check the schedule below:

  • Coach Composition: 1 AC Two-Tier coach,  2 AC Three-Tier coaches,  14 Sleeper Class coaches,  4 General Second Class coaches,  1 Second Class coach (Divyangjan Friendly),  and 1 Luggage cum Brake Van.
  • Reservation Windows: Advance reservations for these trains will open at 08:00 hrs  on 23.09.2026  from the Southern Railway  end.
  • Key Intermediate Halts: The trains will stop at major stations including Palakollu,  Bhimavaram Town,  Vijayawada,  Tenali,  Ongole,  Nellore,  Renigunta,  Tirupati,  Chittoor,  and Katpadi  in both directions.

Central Railway Announces 50 Special Train Services for Diwali 2026

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
