Festival Special Trains 2026: 9 Services Extended - North Central Railway

North Central Railway has announced three festival special train services for the 2026 festive season, including new services between New Delhi–Howrah and Anand Vihar Terminal–Bhagalpur , along with an extension of the New Delhi–Danapur special train service. The announcement was issued by the Prayagraj office of North Central Railway on 16 September 2026 .

  • The 04090/04089 service has a 19-coach composition: 10 AC 3-Tier, 4 Sleeper, 3 General, 1 SLR and 1 SLR/D coach.

Central Railway Announces 50 Special Train Services for Diwali 2026

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
