Extra Sleeper Coach to Kanpur - SMVT Bengaluru Special Train - North Central Railway

North Central Railway has announced the temporary addition of one extra sleeper coach to two pairs of special trains to provide additional seats for passengers. The additional coach will be attached to selected trips of trains between Kanpur Central, SMVT Bengaluru and Asarva from September 20 to 23, 2026.

The additional sleeper coach will be provided for one trip in each direction on the following special train services:

  • 04133 Kanpur Central – SMVT Bengaluru Special currently has 23 ICF coaches. One additional sleeper coach will be added for its 20 September 2026 trip.
  • 04134 SMVT Bengaluru – Kanpur Central Special will receive one additional sleeper coach for its 23 September 2026 trip.
  • 01905 Kanpur Central – Asarva Special currently has 19 ICF coaches. One additional sleeper coach will be added for its 21 September 2026 trip.
  • 01906 Asarva – Kanpur Central Special will receive one additional sleeper coach for its 22 September 2026 trip.
  • The railway has advised passengers to check the detailed schedule through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or railway helpline 139.

Central Railway Announces 50 Special Train Services for Diwali 2026

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
