Diwali/Dussehra/Puja Special Trains 2026: 54 Services Announced - West Central Railway

West Central Railway has announced 54 Diwali/Dussehra/Puja special train services to handle additional passenger demand during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja 2026 . The services will operate on routes connecting Jabalpur, Haridwar, Rani Kamalapati, Rewa, Katni, Satna and Hazrat Nizamuddin during October and November 2026.

Special Train Route and Schedule Details

The announced services include reserved and weekly special trains, along with daily unreserved services between Katni and Satna.

  • 09015 Katni–Satna: Departs Katni at 05:45 hrs and reaches Satna at 08:45 hrs the same day.
  • 09016 Satna–Katni: Departs Satna at 18:30 hrs and reaches Katni at 20:50 hrs the same day.
  • Katni–Satna specials: Both directions will halt at Patwara, Jhukehi, Pakariya Road, Amdara, Ghunarwara, Bhadanpur, Maihar, Unchhera and Lagargaon.
  • 02192 Rewa–Rani Kamalapati: Departs Rewa at 12:30 hrs and reaches Rani Kamalapati at 21:15 hrs the same day.
  • 02191 Rani Kamalapati–Rewa: Departs Rani Kamalapati at 22:15 hrs and reaches Rewa at 07:20 hrs the next day.
  • 02191/02192 halts: Satna, Maihar, Katni Murwara, Damoh, Sagar, Bina and Vidisha.
  • 01707 Jabalpur–Hazrat Nizamuddin: Departs Jabalpur at 20:20 hrs and reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin at 14:25 hrs the next day.
  • 01708 Hazrat Nizamuddin–Jabalpur: Departs at 15:45 hrs and reaches Jabalpur at 09:30 hrs the next day.
  • 01707/01708 halts: Katni Murwara, Damoh, Sagar, Veerangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Gwalior, Dholpur, Agra Cantt, Mathura and Kosi Kalan.

  • The special trains will have AC, Sleeper and General class coaches as specified by West Central Railway.

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
