Diwali Special Trains 2026 Extended by Southern Railway

To cater to the heavy passenger rush during the upcoming festive season, Southern Railway has announced the extension of popular special train services. The extension includes key routes such as the Hyderabad – Kollam – Hyderabad Special (07193/07194) and the Charlapalli – Tiruvannamalai – Charlapalli Special (07001/07002) running through October and November 2026. Passengers can now book tickets as advance reservations are officially open.

  • Train No. 07194 Kollam – Hyderabad Special will depart from Kollam at 10:45 hrs on Mondays and reach Hyderabad at 18:30 hrs the next day. Key intermediate halts include Ernakulam Town ( 13:35/13:40 hrs ), Katpadi ( 01:03/01:05 hrs ), and Nellore ( 06:43/06:45 hrs ).
  • Train No. 07001 Charlapalli – Tiruvannamalai Special will depart from Charlapalli at 17:50 hrs on Thursdays and reach Tiruvannamalai at 13:30 hrs the next day. Key stops include Guntur ( 23:20/23:30 hrs ), Renigunta ( 07:30/07:40 hrs ), and Katpadi ( 10:50/11:00 hrs ).

Central Railway  has announced the introduction of 16 additional festival special trains  to cater to the heavy passenger demand between LTT Mumbai ,  Varanasi , and Sultanpur  for the upcoming festive season.
